About Me

I'm a PhD student at Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. I obtained my Bachelor's degree (2017-2021) from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University. My research interests include high-performance computing (HPC), performance optimization, and large-scale scientific computing, especially involving numerical linear algebra. I am also looking for research opportunities in AI system.

Projects

🔧 TH-HPCA Multigrid Toolkit

A high-performance algebraic multigrid (AMG) toolkit for solving large-scale sparse linear systems on modern HPC architectures. The three libraries, StructMG, Semi-StructMG, and UnstructMG, target the Struct, SStruct, and IJ interfaces of hypre , respectively.

  • A customized version of StructMG, deployed in the business operation of the Global/Regional Assimilation and Prediction System (GRAPES) at the China Meteorological Administration, with >5x speedup for the Helmholtz equation solver module
  • Semi-StructMG and UnstructMG rated 1st and 4th, respectively, in a bounty challenge hosted by the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development of China (CNPN)
  • UnstructMG rated 1st in a bounty challenge hosted by the China Ship Scientific Research Center (CSSC).

🤝 Huawei Company Technical Collaboration Project

  • Evaluated microarchitectural performance of Kunpeng 920 (instruction, cache, and PMU events);
  • Conducted performance diagnostics and optimization of sparse matrix computation kernels on Kunpeng 920. End-to-end improvements >30% for 4 mini-apps (AMG, MFEM, miniFE, CGPOP).
